Who We Are
BellaNova exists to empower underprivileged communities globally — men, women, and children alike - through education, skills training, and opportunity. We believe that equipping individuals with practical skills and knowledge creates a ripple effect of positive transformation that reaches an entire community, building toward lasting self-sufficiency.
Our Story
BellaNova's founder began living out this mission personally in 2016, traveling to Kethanakonda, a village in Andhra Pradesh, India, and encountering 28 widows farming for roughly $528 a year - not enough to sustain a family, let alone build a future. That encounter led to a grassroots partnership with local charity Grace Ministries and the launch of a free tailoring program. In the process, the team discovered something else: only 33% of adults in the community could read or write. That insight sparked a literacy program alongside the tailoring initiative.
For eight years, this work grew relationship by relationship, class by class. On January 22, 2024, BellaNova was formally founded in Bella Vista, Arkansas, to give that grassroots commitment a permanent home and the structure to grow further.

What We Do
Today, in partnership with Grace Ministries, BellaNova serves the Kethanakonda community through four core programs:
-
Medical Camps - free health screenings, vision checks, medicine, and compassionate care for families with limited access to healthcare.
-
Tailoring Education - hands-on skills training and sewing machines, giving students a trade they can use to earn a sustainable income.
-
Digital Literacy - a new computer learning center equipping youth with technology skills, in a community that currently lacks reliable internet access.
-
Community Outreach - feeding families, children's activities, and building the kind of lasting relationships that make real change possible.
Where We're Headed
Kethanakonda is where BellaNova's work began, but it isn't where it ends. Our name - and our mission - reflect a global vision: as BellaNova grows, we're committed to bringing the same model of hope, dignity, and opportunity to underprivileged communities beyond India.
